Bohemian Vibes

Sorry I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had time to post. Follow me on my Instagram for daily posts @RetroChild96 💖
Anyways, I went to visit The Monument in Phoenix Park the other day. It is such a beautiful architectural piece and has so much history attached!
I wore this gorgeous cardigan I purchased in the charity shop and it is from a small shop call Be Young. I'm in love with this colour green! It reminds me of forest shades. The sleeves were super long but it was still comfy and gave a bohemian vibe. I paired them with denim skinny jeans and black docs.
I also found a cute little vintage cafe in Kilmainham and of course I had to take a pic of that Herbie Volkswagon.
Hope everyone is doing well!
See you soon.

Dublin City

Hey guys! How are all you lovelies today?
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been taking tours around Dublin city. Some of you may already know I am from Ireland, Dublin.
It is such a beautiful city and I'm sure I've mentioned this before. The architecture always has my attraction. You can tell how old the buildings are, yet it adds such a French vibe to it I think. The contrast, the details, everything! I love it.
Anyways, here is an outfit I wore to Dundrum on Saturday. I've only been there a few times and I get lost every time but its still a great experience to visit Dundrum for the day.
The top was purchased from a charity shop I work in. Unfortunately, I can't tell where it is from. The jeans and docs are from Primark, of course. I practically live in that shop haha.
I decided to go for a more Gothic look as I was inspired by a few bloggers on Instagram. The lace adds to the details on the outfit and of course, you will always see me wearing black. It creates such a sliming silhoette. The docs are pretty old and wrecked. I must invest in a new pair but I can't throw my babies away either.

I post there a lot more often and let you know what I'm doing during the day.
Happy Wednesday guys! See you soon.

Adventure

Hey guys! Some of you may know, I'm always up for an adventure. I have a wandering spirit that likes to explore a lot. I guess you can call me a bit of a hippie?
I wanted to have a photoshoot in the depths of the forest. My friends and I went to Tymon Park. Its such a beautiful and peaceful place.
Oh! I have a story. The first picture is me sitting in a wooden fort. I found this wooden fort 4 years ago when I was in school. I thought it was the coolest thing ever and I still do! Two years after I found it I was in college and there I met my best friend. I told her about the wooden fort I once found, little did I know, she was the one who created it!
That is true goals.
Anyways, I wore my favourite vintage jacket on Monday. This baby is from Shotsy Vintage but sadly its closed down now. I paired it with a skull tee I purchased from Primark only for €3! A bargain. The rest of the outfit is also from Primark.
My hair is styled into little space buns. They looked so cute and I think they match almost any outfit. Totally grunge looking.
Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
More posts soon so start tuned.

EEK!

Hey fashionistas!
So its the start of July and summer has kicked in. This photo shoot was taken in Brickfield park. There is so much to talk about. First of all the top was purchased in a thrift fair. The fair was amazing! I just loved the French and Halloween look it had to it. The top is from French Connection. I purchased the trousers in Primark and they were on sale for €5! That's a bargain! The shoes are also from Primark and they suit me so well because the back say 'Fear Less'. My motto everyday.
I paired the look with a studded belt from Primark also to give an edgy vibe.
As you may have noticed, I added three little dots above my eyeliner. I don't wear makeup that often as I feel you should be comfortable in your own skin but when I do, I want to create the oddest looks possible.
The trousers came with a silk belt but I decided to wear it as a silk scarf which made me looks sassy. I love it!
And finally the black velvet jacket is also from Primark but I purchased this beauty from a charity shop.
More posts coking soon! Hope everyone is well.

Clashing Patterns

Hey! How is everyone today?
This photoshoot was taken last week in the city of Dublin. In case some of you may not know, I'm from Ireland.
Dublin is such a beautiful city when you take a good look at it. I had to capture the beauty while I walked across the bridge over the river Liffey.
It was quiet a dull day but still warm so I decided to wear my camp shorts for a change. Trust me, I had to pluck up a lot of courage to wear these but I was in love with the outfit afterwards.
Lately I've been clashing patterns together to give a unique look. As you can see I paired polka dots with camouflage.
My best friend and I found the coolest graffiti in town! I have an obsession with skulls haha. We also found a street of colorful doors which reminded me of childhood show Ballimory.
I also forgot to mention my little back pack is vintage. I wore this in my last post but its such a perfect statement piece and matches everything! Not sure where its from though, my mom gave it to me.
Anyways, new posts will be posted shortly.
